Being a big fan of Ken Burns' action thriller Mark Twain I was immediately interested in drawing this character for Newcity. I hear now that he's written a number of stories...
The new issue of Newcity comes out tomorrow, Thursday, December the 2nd. It's a little odd to see a young Mark Twain, I'm so used to the white suited dude with a shock of white hair and moustache to match. This is a young Mark Twain, or maybe an old Samuel Clemens? In either case I think it may actually be an actor that played Wyatt Earp in some movie I can't remember.
