Well, that was the plan--to draw a face-a-day for one month, filling two sketchbooks. I was recently looking through the Face-A-Day Program from a couple years ago. It got me thinking of why I did that in the first place. Which was: I wasn't drawing regularly and I needed something to get me back in shape. The goal with the New Face-A-Day was to draw real faces without any help from tracing key features, etc.
Currently, I find myself pretty busy and I won't be able to do a face-a-day for a while. So, I've decided to just move along in the real faces sketchbook and post them as I finish them.
Here is portrait one, from sketchbook one, chapter one, which is called:
Attempts at Likeness.
Can you guess the face?
