Putting the multi in multimedia, this piece has me trying some new things and some very old. The relief carving was done with my Speedball lino-carver, which I gotta say don't work half-bad on wood. However, I've invested in a beginning carving set. The piece consists of found sycamore, maple and birch lumber, japanese maple and elm leaves, pyrography, graphite, stain, watercolor, and wax—even worked in some Ogham script.
